Dear Faith Mosaic participant:
We were pleased to learn that you have registered to participate in the Faith Mosaic (FM) community. FM is decidedly different from all the choose-your-friends-by-their-appearance websites by enabling single Christians to see the hearts of prospective friends. This deeper consideration is facilitated by discussing matters of faith – the stuff that lasting relationships are founded upon.
To help you get started, here are great discussion questions to use as conversation starters, as well as iron-sharpening-iron issues for mutual faith building.
What exactly does it mean to be a “Christian”?
Jesus asked, “Who do you say that I am?” How would you answer?
The jailer asked Paul and Silas, “What must I do to be saved?” How would you answer?
If you were to stand before God, and He were to ask you, “Why should I let you into my Heaven?” What would you say?
Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Do you love me?” How do you demonstrate your love for Jesus?
What are life’s most important questions?
What is God’s purpose for your life?
What parable of Jesus is most meaningful to you, and why?
According to John’s Gospel, Jesus “came unto his own, and his own received Him not.” Why do people still reject Jesus?
Why is obedience important in the life of believers?
How do you integrate God’s word into your life?
Jesus said that no greater man had been born than John, the baptizer. What in the life of this great man witnesses to us?
What does repentance look like?
We pretty much know what the “Savior” part of “Lord and Savior” means, but what exactly does “Lord” mean? What does lordship look like ?
Participant, consider reading your friend’s personal testimony in their “Profile” and ask a question or two about how they came to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
